It’s the hottest season with the greatest festivities… Carnival is here again and we want you to capture de best look for de Road! That’s the best Carnival Makeup look that you’ve created for de road.
Compete in EHIMA’s Grand Carnival Makeup Contest and show your talent to the world…. Creativity is your limit!

Makeup can be elaborate with full use of glitter, fake eyelashes, feathers, beads, head-pieces and everything Carnival. Make it enchanting, glamorous, dramatic and daring to the point of fantastic Carnival Makeup. And send @ least three (3) photos to ehima@yahoo.com.
How will photos be judged?
Photos will be judged on creativity, originality, technique, detail and interpretation of what we’ve requested.

A Congratulatory Note from Ephraim Hunte
The Idea for the contest was realized to stir up a consciousness for preserving the GREEN of our planet.The intent was to incite Eco-Conservation awareness and create a fun atmosphere with a message of GOING GREEN for 2012 and beyond. Hence the GREEN Contest. For the judging, attention was paid to overall concept, with green make-up approach. Though retouching can enhance images, sometimes it can disfigure a great idea, as was in the case with some of the images submitted, so points were lost where digital enhancements were too obvious. The overall winner in the Make-up Enthusiast Category preserved the purity of her make-up and got my approval! In the Make-up Artist category the competition was not validated due to one contestant entry, in that category. However, I felt that her effort for acknowledging the Contest had to be rewarded with the other winning Hamper. The contestant upon notification requested a BRIDAL MAKEUP WORKSHOP at E.H.I.M.A. instead of her Hamper.
