MAKEUP ARTIST Guru Ephraim Hunte has created his own foolproof technique to sanitize mascara wands and prevent mascara contaminated during and after makeup applications. How to: Apply rubbing alcohol 90% to a sheet of paper towel and swipe the used-mascara-wand through the alcohol saturated paper towel, before re-entering the wand back into the mascara tube. This will not only sanitize the wand but also introduce the anti-bacterial properties of the rubbing alcohol in the mascara formula. A great remedy to conjunctivitis (red eye).
